Mean Girls is an American media franchise centered on a series of teen drama comedy films distributed by Paramount Pictures and produced by Broadway Video based on Queen Bees and Wannabes; a self help book by Rosalind Wiseman set in suburban Chicago, following Cady Heron, a homeschooled girl who has spent her entire in Africa with her parents and is now thrust into the popularity game of the American high school scene.
