lynx是维基主题链接的主要方式，你可以在Template talk:Lynx发表你的看法。你可以通过复制粘贴或输入 {{lynx}} 在所有的维基语录页面底部加入这个链接。

现在维基语录还没有一个很好的分类规范，

Currently "Categories" have not been used extensively here, and we are still in the process of deciding upon the names that should be used. On the Wikipedia they are becoming well-used on many pages, and they clearly provide many advantages in creating lists which may make some of the pages for manually created lists obsolete (specifically the List of people by occupation page).

Many pages still exist within Wikiquote with the obsolete and now erroneous links to the Wikipedia in the "en:SUBJECT" format, and now simply make links to places to create new pages within the English Wikiquote project. These should all be changed where they are encountered into the "w:SUBJECT" format.

Below are suggestions for the formatting of pages of different types. In general, on most pages, sourced material should be placed in sections before that which is merely attributed, and within sections quotations should be arranged in either a chronological or a sequential order, if possible, or an alphabetical one if not.

注意:

Do not include the == Sourced: == heading if there are no sourced quotes (i.e. quotes where the source is identified). Similarly there is no need for the ==Attributed:== heading if there are no merely attributed quotes.

Only include transliterations and translations if the quote is not in English.

Put non-English quotations in italics (but not the translations).

Only include Notes where applicable.

Order dated quotes, and dated sections chronologically.

Order undated quotes alphabetically, especially if there are a large number of them, as this helps to prevent duplication.

Put quotes from autobiographies on the persons page, not on a separate one for the book.

In addition to the formatting used in the above templates there are optional additions that some people sometimes use:

After the essential information in the Header, further very short comments can be provided, and links to related articles on individuals or subjects; (See George Washington).

Within the notes about a quotations or article:
- Links to the Wikipedia or external sources with pertinent information relating to a quote or article.
- The creation of links to Wikipedia for any YEARS or DATES, to provide a reference to other events or subjects related to such designations of time.
