霍雷肖·納爾遜，（Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson，1758年9月29日—1805年10月21日），英國18世紀末及19世紀初的著名海軍將領及軍事家。

The signaller pointed out that "expects" was in the signals alphabet, but "confides" was not and so had to be spelt out, taking longer, and Nelson agreed to the change.
